Dr. Oluwaseun (Sean) Ajifowobaje is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, originally from Nigeria, who immigrated at the age of seven. Raised in Glen Burnie, Maryland, he excelled in lacrosse and soccer during high school. Graduating from Towson University in 2008, Dr. Ajifowobaje, a student-athlete, earned a spot on the dean’s list in his junior year. His competitive soccer background provided him with extensive knowledge in rehabilitation and agility training.
After completing his undergraduate studies, he pursued a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in New York City, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Touro College Manhattan in 2016. He embarked on his career as a Physical Therapist, specializing in Electrodiagnostics and Ultrasound testing. Notably, he achieved ECS and RMSK Board Certifications in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
Sean conducts diagnostic electromyography, encompassing nerve conduction studies and electromyography, to assess peripheral nerve conditions. Additionally, he specializes in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, offering evaluations and diagnoses for conditions such as tendinopathy, synovitis, strains, and sprains. Sean has collaborated with professionals across various specialties, including physical therapy, neurology, joint orthopedics, spine surgery, hand specialization, pain management, and internal medicine, delivering comprehensive services.
Since 2022, Sean has served as a mentor at Hands-on Diagnostics, leveraging his expertise as an ECS board-certified electromyographer to guide and support aspiring physical therapists in their journey toward board certification in EMG.
